Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina

A journey to go contemplate one of the most impressive glaciers of Patagonia: the Perito Moreno glacier. Located in Los Glaciares National Park, it is one of the most famous and visited in the world for its vastness and beauty. 

After crossing the border where formalities are made to access the Argentinian side, there are four hours of travel to get to the lovely city of El Calafate where the local guide is incorporated to continue with the tour. After approximately one hour of travel we enter the park and a few minutes later we reach the Perito Moreno glacier first viewpoint. In front of the majestic glacier, you then have approximately 2 hours to admire it through series of walkways and balconies. For those who wish to enjoy from closer the walls of ice of this natural wonder, there is also the option to take a 45 minutes boat tour. Then we start returning in direction of El Calafate where a brief stop is made before coming back to Puerto Natales. The arrival is estimated between 10.00 pm – 10.30 pm depending on the time spent at the border.

Important Information

Location: Los Glaciares national park, El Calafate, Argentina (see map).

Availability: Year round. (During low season: trips are scheduled according to the demand, a minimum number of passengers is required).

Level of difficulty: Suitable for all levels.

Departure time: From 6:00 am from Puerto Natales.

Returning time: 10:00 – 10:30 pm to Puerto Natales.

You must present your valid ID or passport.

Citizens from China have to pay a reciprocity fee and get it printed to enter in Argentina.

Included / Not Included

Included: Pick up from hotel (urban area), transport and guide (guide service starting from El Calafate).

Not included: Los Glaciares park entrance fee ($800 Argentinian pesos), food and optional boat tour ($900 Argentinian pesos. The boat tour is subject to time, weather conditions and availability).

Please take Argentinian pesos with you to pay in cash directly there.
